As we had a family party last week, my sister in law Laura and my friend Victoria tasked me with doing their nails the night before it. So I thought I'd share the designs with you. Both were firsts for me, and I really loved the end result, as did the girls luckily enough!
For Victoria I did my first ever Aztec nails design. A bit of a mix match of colours and designs meant she could work her outfit around it for the next night. When she showed her nails to her boyfriend he told her they looked like Spanish pots, result!
Laura had asked me to do her a design in black and white but pretty much left the rest up to me. I decided to try out a Paisley print design, which I've been looking to do for a while. I was really pleased with the way they turned out, but decided just to do the design on her ring fingers and highlight the rest of her nails with a polka dot trim.
After spending all my time doing their nails, waiting for coats to dry etc, I ended up with a pretty boring design on my own nails! An all over pail pink with neon pink leopard print on my ring fingers. They did go with my dress though...outfit post to come! Please ignore the dodgy fake tan on my fingers. It was just freshly applied...
What do you think? Which design is your favourite?

Time for bed?
I have a confession to make, I have a real issue with people wearing their pyjamas outside. Don't get me wrong I've done the odd picking someone up from the train station or driving to a friend's house in my jammies. But the number of people (women if I'm honest) I see every day out and about in them really infuriates me. Please tell me I'm not alone in this rage??
However I think it's time I got down off my high horse and explored this sleepwear as day-wear trend...
Pyjama pants were all over the catwalks and are now all over our high streets, so maybe it's about time I took the plunge. I've had a wee nosey around and picked out some of my favourites. I think they'd look great styled with some fab heels, a blazer and a bright white t-shirt for an easy summer look, just steer clear of the slippers and coordinating teddy bear!

Whistles £125 (Good luck finding a pair though!)
So what do you think of pyjama trousers? Will you be wearing them and how will you be styling them? Personally I'm loving the sale bargain of the Warehouse floral lovelies could they be an investment summer buy perhaps?

Champagne o'clock!
So my hubby and I are in the process of buying a new house, we move in 2 weeks and I can't wait! In my head a new house just means a blank canvas to fill with new pretty things, such as this fab print from Rockett St George. Actually I could go crazy on the whole site, but a print might be a good starting point...
I love the sentiment....although I'm not really sure that I want anyone dancing on my new dining table....
What do you think? Must have??

Marni for H&M
What will you be doing this Thursday morning? I know what I'll be doing, fighting to get on to H&M's website to bag myself some of the new Marni for H&M range.
I always have mixed feelings about designer and high street collaborations. Usually when they first come out I'm totally drawn in and obsessed with them but a few weeks later I'm left wondering what all the fuss was about. Case in point the first Versace collection for H&M last year, so tacky it was almost tasteful! I don't really see those studded leggings and tropical prints being wardrobe staples in the long term though....
But the Marni collection has some style classics that I could see having pride of place in my wardrobe for quite some time, especially some of the accessories (my weakness!) with a real sixties feel to the range, it's pretty timeless.
Some of my favourites...
The amazing studded collars, totally torn between the black and the white!
The chunky ribbed leggings, they'd go with EVERYTHING!
Some of the lustworthy prints, I think I might need them all. And I definitely need to book a holiday so I can wear the fab frill trimmed swimsuit.
So what do you think? Will you be joining me on Thursday morning refreshing your browser like a mad woman?
